It’s from Lionsgate as well, who DID Repo! The Genetic Opera, one of my favourite films of the last 12 months. And Sticky made it! This is going to be EPIC!

So this, apparently ties together the two movies. Like the Animatrix, except that this actually looks good. Oh yes. That’s my evening planned. I know it’s an ad, but it’s Batman. If you can’t see why this is ok then you are indeed on the wrong website. No more dead cops!!!!!! Whooooooop!

My first memories of The Cure are very early indeed. I remember that the girls who lived next door to me were the first Cure heads that I ever encountered. They were about five years older than I, but I remember listening to the constant stream of music that came from their house. There was something so alien to the sound of the Cure and it awakened an interest that has never really gone away to be honest. Throughout the following years, this love of the Cure grew and spawned many new friendships for me. They have that kind of appeal, strange really, as sometimes, other fans of bands that you hold dear can be such absolute nobbers that it can put you off a group totally. This has never really been the way with fans of The Cure, for there is something unique to the music that leaves an impact that is deeper. Leonard Cohen can do the same. They have a unique ability to readapt their approach with almost every album, yet at the same time never straying too far from the distinctive sound that makes them The Cure. It was a great pleasure then, to finally hear “The Perfect Boy” which is rather spectacular. It was damn good actually, because I haven’t heard anything new that has excited me in quite some time, oh aside from that DMX and Seal joint, which is an instant classic!
