Hateful and Hollow or Pop Genius?

When I was away, I discovered that there is a massive pop sensation in France known as Sliimy. He’s poised to take over the States at the moment. He’s being lauded over there by the E! Network and the staggeringly detestable Perez Hilton. It’s kind of like if Mika and Lightspeed Champion had a baby and sent him away to live with the Scissor Sisters. My initial reaction was that it was the worst thing I had ever heard, but the fact that it’s been stuck in my head for four days now may suggest otherwise. Does this channel into the true essence of pop music by creating something so infectious that it spreads quicker than swine flu on a Ryanair flight, or is it merely synthetic play dough for the brain?

Either way, you’ll be hearing this a lot over the coming months, and it’s best to be prepared.

Pathetic cashing in on something that has proven to be good elsewhere. A vile interbreeding of “nerdy” under dog type music into a musical terminator of chart busting preportions. A Frankenstinian nightmare.

Awesome. Now I want to get someone who loves it and pit you both off in a ‘Two men enter, one man leaves’ tournament.

Hm, Moss hairdo, geeky artsy videos, lack of steaming pile of ego, I think he’s fun :) I’d like him to add a little more emotional depth to his singing, but I’d be more than happy if he took the pop crown from which ever harpy is wearing it this week in America.

Now you must fight Gonzo in a cage match with no referee. Sorry, that was the agreement
