It was indeed quite daunting finally getting to see him after all this time!! We were leaving the venue and the stage door was right beside our Metro station, I stood for a moment as the crew and musicians began to come out to get into the tour bus. I contemplated approaching him but it felt wrong. He was with his family and I didn't want to bother him so we left instead. I think the fear of upsetting him and being told to bugger off would be quite unbearable. So, away I left, happy with taking the memories of the concert. Cara, thanks for the comment! I was happy enough to enjoy the show. I saw the bar in the foyer but I didn't see that they had beers!! Whoops! (The que was massive as well and we couldnt face anymore queuing! - That was lucky you didn't have any of trhose issues.) I am looking forward to trying to see him again. I read that he finished the first night with "Come On Up To The House" which I would imagine was marvellous. It was indeed a memorable performance and I sincerely hope that the touring bug propells him to do another series of show. Many thanks for the comment and I'm glad that you had a great night as well.
